Our birds came to us through a conversation that my youngest son, Cole, and my Uncle Don (Orlando White Dove Release, www.orlandowhitedovereleases.com. We received 6 birds; white homing pigeons, Kings and silver laced rollers from Florida in 2003. Cole wanted the birds as a project for 4H. It was my Uncle’s idea that we use the white homing birds for special occasions. I was in love with the idea the first time I saw them in flight. They are a beautiful, elegant and leave a unique lasting impression.
We have expanded our variety of birds at home. Over the years and the generosity of the Colorado State Pigeon Assn members we have a variety of different breeds. Did you know there are over 200 different breeds of Pigeons and Doves? My family currently has baldhead and silver laced rolling pigeons, West of England Tumblers, Eqyptian Swifts, Ringneck doves. We generally try to keep our birds numbers down to about 50-60 birds.
We would love to share our birds with you!
